Climbing Roses

PLEASE NOTE ROSES ARE BARE-ROOTED FOR DELIVERY IN JULY – SEPT 2022 ONLY. (FROM EARLY/MID JUNE)

Both Old and Modern roses include climbing/arching varieties, in which the bushes’ canes develop to be considerably longer and more flexible than conventional “bush” types. This is frequently the natural growing pattern of Old Garden Roses. Although officially a different class, Rambler Roses are frequently included in Climbing Roses. They have long, flexible canes as well, but they are typically recognised from real climbers by two characteristics: a higher overall height (20–30 feet tall is typical) and a once-blooming habit.
